We are pleased to announce that cargo tracking for MOL (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines) RORO vessels is now available on MonCargo.

How to Track MOL RORO Vessels

  • Step 1: Click “＋ Add Shipment” from the dashboard
  • Step 2: Choose shipping line “MOL” and enter the Booking number you wish to track
  • Step 3: Click “Create” to automatically add it to your shipment list and begin tracking

※ If you are using CSV upload or API integration, please also select “MOL” as the carrier.
※ SCAC code (Standard Carrier Alpha Code): MOLU

What Is MOL ACE? A Global Leader in Automotive Shipping

MOL ACE (MOL Auto Carrier Express) is the unified brand of MOL’s automotive logistics service.

From Japan’s First RORO Ship to Next-Generation PCTCs

In 1965, MOL built Japan’s first dedicated RORO vessel, the Oppama Maru.
At the time, cars were typically lifted one-by-one by crane. With the RORO system, vehicles could drive directly onto the ship, increasing load speed from 15 to 100 vehicles per hour—a revolutionary improvement in finished vehicle logistics.
