Feature Update: First Vessel and Last Vessel Visibility Now Available with CSV Export

We are pleased to introduce a new feature that allows you to view the First Vessel and Last Vessel directly in the shipment list, along with support for exporting this information via CSV.

With this update, even for container shipping and ocean freight shipments involving transshipment, you can quickly identify key vessel information within MonCargo, improving shipment visibility and day-to-day operational efficiency.

Feature Overview

The following fields can now be displayed in the shipment list view.
You can enable or disable them using the settings icon (⚙).

• First Vessel: The vessel that first departs from the POL (Port of Loading)
• Last Vessel: The vessel sailing to the POD (Port of Discharge)

These fields are also included in CSV exports, making it easier to use the data for internal reporting, Excel-based management, and logistics documentation.

Development Background

For shipments involving transshipment, logistics teams often need to confirm which vessel handled the initial departure and which vessel is responsible for the final delivery segment.

Previously, this information could be checked through MonCargo’s vessel tracking and schedule data. However, it was not available as dedicated fields for direct CSV output, which sometimes required manual data processing during reporting or data transfer.

With this update, First Vessel and Last Vessel information can now be handled directly within both the interface and exported data, helping streamline import/export operations and reduce manual workload.
