MonCargo Official
Thank you as always for using MonCargo.
We’re excited to share that our dashboard's list view has become even more user-friendly with the addition of two frequently requested features:
column width adjustment and drag-and-drop column reordering.
You can now drag the border of each column to freely resize it.
This makes it easier to view longer content and improves the readability of key information.
Previously, it was possible to change column order via the settings menu (gear icon), as explained here.
With this latest release, you can now simply drag column headers to rearrange them directly in the list view.
This allows you to tailor the layout to your work style, such as placing frequently used columns closer to the left.
If you’ve ever found the dashboard “a little hard to read” or “a bit clunky to use,” we hope these updates make your daily work smoother and more comfortable.
We will continue to focus on improving the usability of MonCargo for your everyday operations.
Until now, users were unable to resize column widths, which led to comments like:
“When the vessel name, VOY NO. (voyage number), or fields like Port of Loading (POL) and Port of Discharge (POD) are long, they get cut off and hard to read.”
“I tried to hover over the column headers, expecting to be able to resize them…”
These voices made it clear to us that column width adjustment was necessary.
While column reordering has technically been available through the settings, this new drag-and-drop method is more intuitive, easier to discover, and requires fewer clicks. We hope you’ll find it more convenient.
We truly hope this release helps make shipment tracking and day-to-day operations a little easier for many of you.
As always, we welcome your feedback!

Editor’s Note: A Personal Reflection on Small, Meaningful Improvements
At MonCargo—and for any business system, really—what we build is something you use every day.
And something you use every day directly impacts your Quality of Life.
When a system doesn’t quite behave the way you expect or feels even slightly slow, it adds up.
If you're aiming to save even just a minute, a second, or a single click, having a system that feels easy and responsive makes a world of difference.
Let me share a recent personal example.
At our company, we use a time management technique called the Pomodoro Technique—25 minutes of focused work, followed by a 5-minute break, repeated throughout the day.
To boost productivity further, I pair each session with music.
I create playlists based on the 25-5-25 time structure using classical tracks I find conducive to focus (Mozart is a personal favorite).
But until recently, starting each session involved four steps:
Log into the music service → select the playlist → connect to the speaker → enable repeat play.
It was mildly frustrating and felt inefficient.
Just last weekend, one of our engineers built a way for me to start the music with a single terminal command—a one-liner executed in the command-line interface (commonly used by developers).
Suddenly, those 4 clicks became 1, and the music starts instantly.
It was a small change, but one that brought me real joy.
It reminded me just how important these daily optimizations are.
When you’re using a tool every day, small conveniences—fewer clicks, faster loading, intuitive interaction—matter a lot.
And it’s exactly this mindset that drives our improvements to MonCargo.
Many of our users already tell us MonCargo is easy to use, but we’re not stopping there.
We want to keep improving: reducing clicks, increasing speed, and making every interaction feel smoother.
So if there’s ever a detail—no matter how small—that you think could be improved, please feel free to let us know.
Of course, as a SaaS product, we may not be able to implement everything, but we always take your feedback seriously.
After all, this is something you use every day.
We hope you continue to enjoy using MonCargo.
