New feature: Manage Customs Clearance Date and Delivery Date for Shipments

Thank you for using MonCargo.

We have released a new feature that lets you register and manage "Export Customs Clearance Date," "Import Customs Clearance Date," and "Delivery Date" within shipment management. With this update, you can centralize logistics schedules on MonCargo—not only ETD/ETA tracking information but also customs clearance and delivery dates.

Feature Overview

On the shipment detail screen, you can now enter the following three date fields:

  • Export Customs Clearance Date
  • Import Customs Clearance Date
  • Delivery Date

By registering these fields, you can view the progress of export/import operations—including customs clearance and delivery—alongside the vessel’s schedule on a single screen.

Main capabilities

This feature enables the following:

  • Register Export Customs Clearance Date, Import Customs Clearance Date, and Delivery Date on the shipment detail screen
  • Enable or disable each field per team
  • Display them in the shipment list and on the Gantt chart
  • CSV export support

Use cases

In logistics operations, in addition to ETD/ETA, there are many cases where you want to manage internal dates such as:

  • Confirming the completion date of export customs clearance
  • Tracking progress from import customs clearance to delivery
  • Visualizing the handling status per shipment at the team level

You can also operate with only the dates required by each team.
For example, the Export team can enable only "Export Customs Clearance Date," while the Import team can enable only "Import Customs Clearance Date" and "Delivery Date."

Background

Until now, information such as Export Customs Clearance Date, Import Customs Clearance Date, and Delivery Date was sometimes managed in the Remarks field or via Custom Fields within a shipment. At the same time, customs clearance and delivery are often tracked for progress, and we received many requests to manage these as standalone fields.

With this release, these dates can be handled as standard fields within MonCargo’s shipment management. In addition to ETD/ETA vessel schedules, you can now manage tasks that include customs clearance and delivery, making progress checks and information sharing smoother.
