Permission Change Notice (Activity, Team Menu, Cross-Team Features)

Thank you for using MonCargo.
To enhance security and operational management, we will be updating the following permission settings.

1. Changes to Activity Tab Access

The “Activity” tab on each shipment detail screen allows you to review a history of who created or updated each entry. The "Team" menu displays settings for each team and information about its members. As of this update, the viewing permissions for the Activity tab and the Team menu will be changed as follows:

• Before: All users (Admin / Manager / Operator / Readonly)
• After: Only Admin and Manager users will have access

※ Users with Operator or Readonly permissions will no longer be able to access the Activity tab or the Team menu. If you need access to this information, please contact your team administrator.

Update (2025/11/06)

Viewing permissions for the Team menu have also been aligned so that only Admin and Manager users may access it. Previously, Operator and Readonly users could view the Team menu but not edit its contents. However, in accordance with the principle of least privilege, we have updated the system to restrict view access as well. As a result, both the Activity tab and the Team menu will be accessible only to Admin and Manager users going forward.

2. Updates to Access Scope and Name of the "Headquarters Feature"

The “Headquarters Feature” available in the Premium Plan and above allows users to view and manage multiple teams with the following functions:

• Cross-Team View (a feature to view multiple teams in a single list)
• Bulk Team CSV Upload (uploading shipments by specifying team IDs)

With this update, access permissions will be revised as follows:

Operator: You will be able to use both the Cross-Team View and Bulk Team CSV Upload limited to your own assigned team.

Readonly: You will be able to use the Cross-Team View limited to your own assigned team.
Since Readonly users do not have permission to register shipments, the Bulk Team CSV Upload feature will remain unavailable.

※ Admin / Manager: No changes. Full access remains available.

In line with this update, the feature name “Headquarters Feature” will be changed to “Cross-Team Feature.” The label “Headquarters” in the interface will also be updated to “Cross-Team.” Thank you for your understanding.

Development Background

The Activity tab was originally designed as an operation log intended for administrators, and this change aligns its access permissions with that intended design.
Additionally, based on actual usage patterns, we are now allowing Operator and Readonly users to view data across their own assigned teams, as this was a common and reasonable need in day-to-day operations.

Note on Role Types:

• Standard Plans include Admin and Readonly roles.
• Premium Plans and above offer detailed role control, including Manager and Operator roles.
