New Feature: MonCargo Introduces “MonCargo Connect” to Improve Communication in International Logistics

We are pleased to announce that we have begun accepting pre-registration and online consultation requests for MonCargo Connect, a new optional feature that enables centralized communication and document sharing in international trade and logistics.
The official launch is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and users who pre-register will be able to start their trial at the time of release.

MonCargo Connect expands the capabilities of the existing tracking platform by allowing shippers, freight forwarders, and other partners to manage communication and document workflows on a shipment-by-shipment basis. This unifies “communication, management, and record-keeping” into one place, improving both visibility and operational efficiency across the logistics workflow.

Background of MonCargo Connect

MonCargo has focused on container and shipment tracking, helping teams streamline vessel monitoring and reduce operational workload. Many users also rely on our URL-based sharing feature to easily share shipment information with external partners.

However, as the number of tracked shipments increased, we received a growing demand for a platform where communication and document management could also be completed on the same screen.

In global trade and international logistics, information exchange still relies heavily on email, phone calls, and spreadsheets due to the number of stakeholders and the wide variety of required documents. This leads to time-consuming searches, fragmented communication, and rising “invisible costs” across the industry.

To address these challenges, MonCargo Connect has been developed as a workflow hub built around tracking as the core.

By centralizing external sharing, communication, and file management for each shipment, MonCargo will continue to evolve alongside the needs of people working on the front lines of logistics.

What is MonCargo Connect?

MonCargo Connect provides a secure environment for sharing and managing shipment-related information with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key features include:

• Guest User Invitations

Invite external partners—such as shippers, forwarders, warehouses, or inspection companies—directly to MonCargo.
Share shipment details and real-time tracking updates securely and with controlled access.

• Comments & Mentions

Leave comments on a shipment and notify relevant stakeholders instantly.
All communication is recorded and organized by shipment.

• File Management & Sharing

Manage and share documents such as invoices, B/Ls, and other trade documentation, all linked to each shipment.

These features are designed to make shipment-level communication and document workflows smoother, faster, and more transparent.
