Feature Update: Choose Date Format in CSV Export (With or Without Time)

Thank you for using MonCargo.

You can now choose the date format when exporting CSV files —either with time or date only—depending on your workflow needs. This makes it easier to integrate with tools that require simplified formats, such as Kintone or internal systems.

Available Date Format Options

• Date with time (e.g., 2024/01/15 10:30:00)

Useful when you need to manage shipment timestamps or track detailed logistics data.

• Date only (e.g., 2024/01/15)

Ideal for workflows that rely on date fields without timestamps, such as internal systems or simple reporting tools.

Development Background

We received feedback from users who regularly import MonCargo CSV data into internal systems:

“Our system only accepts date-only fields.”
“We manually edit the CSV in Excel every time to remove the time.”

Until now, CSV exports from MonCargo always included the full datetime format. This often required an extra step—editing the CSV in Excel to remove the time portion—before uploading it elsewhere. While each step was minor, these repetitive tasks could build up into a noticeable burden in daily operations.

This feature was developed to help eliminate those small but frequent inefficiencies and to support smoother integration with your internal workflows.
