We are pleased to announce that Willbox Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Issei Kami), a company developing and operating an international logistics platform, has adopted the API of the container tracking service "MonCargo," provided by MonCargo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, CEO: Ayana Gosho), and successfully integrated the data.

Background of the Data Integration

The international logistics industry, particularly maritime transport, is highly susceptible to external influences, such as sudden fluctuations in container prices and schedule disruptions. The turmoil in the shipping market continues to affect the industry significantly.

Additionally, acquiring information from shipping companies is challenging due to the cross-border nature of the data, making it difficult to track vessel movements.

In response to these challenges, Willbox has enabled container tracking and vessel movement monitoring by integrating data between its maritime container booking service, "Container EC," and MonCargo's container tracking service, "MonCargo."

"Vessel Movement Tracking Feature"

From the "My Booking" list on Willbox's Container EC platform, users can select a booking they wish to track and click on "Vessel Movement Details" to be redirected to MonCargo's interface. Here, they can view real-time tracking information, vessel movements, schedules, and more. Additionally, new updates allow users to check booking statuses, Booking Numbers, and B/L Numbers.

Thanks to the integration with MonCargo, Container EC now provides centralized access to booking information, enabling users to view all relevant data within the platform.
